Mesimvria Wines
In Nea Mesimvria, Thessaloniki, the winery and vineyards of “Mesimvria Winery” are located. Nea Mesimvria lies northwest of the city of Thessaloniki, at a distance of 20 km. It is built on hills with an average altitude of 200 meters and overlooks the Thermaic Gulf.
The company was founded in 1996 by Periklis Drachas and Theodoros Paraskevopoulos with the aim of highlighting the viticultural potential of the area through the production of quality wines. They soon realized that to achieve this, intensive viticulture had to cease and only quality grapes should be produced, based on the potential of each vineyard.

ZOEPHOROS
Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot
Deep purplish color, aromas of red forest fruits, nuts, and spices, with ripe silky tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, complex aftertaste. Best enjoyed at 160–180 °C in a large tulip-shaped glass, accompanying red meats with complex sauces, rich game dishes, and aged yellow cheeses.
